With diverse backgrounds and experiences, our executives provide strong and stable leadership both within Liaison and within the larger, emerging integration and data management services marketplace.

Robert A. (Bob) Renner, President and Chief Executive Officer

Bob Renner is one of the founders of Liaison Technologies and the company’s first employee.  He played a key role in raising over $100 million in funding for the business and acted as Liaison’s Chief Technology Officer in the company’s startup phase from 2000 – 2002.  In 2002, he was appointed the CEO and Chairman of the Board a position he held through 2008. As the current President, CEO and a member of the Board of Directors, he is responsible for company operations worldwide, corporate strategy and has successfully executed eight corporate acquisitions in the US and Europe.

Prior to Liaison, Bob was the head of Electronic Commerce for Georgia-Pacific Corp., one of the world's largest forest products companies. He also has over 15 years of information technology experience prior to joining Liaison including holding IT Strategy and Management positions with several leading companies including; the Walt Disney Company, McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, and Security Pacific National Bank (now Bank of America).

Renner earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Emory University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University (Fullerton).

Larry D. Mieldezis, Chief Operating Officer

Larry Mieldezis brings many years of e-commerce experience to Liaison where he is responsible for global sales, marketing, and professional services. He is responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy around the globe, as well as enhancing and delivering our highly customized services portfolio. With more than 20 years of practice in the sales, marketing, and delivery of technology services Mieldezis brings a breadth of experience in technology strategy, planning, and engineering along with management of enterprise applications and Internet-based commerce systems.

Prior to joining Liaison, Mieldezis served as Vice President of Engineering Services at Checkfree Corporation where he was responsible for the engineering services organization consisting of systems engineering, program management and disaster recovery. Mieldezis was also accountable for integrating technology as part of corporate mergers and acquisitions. He has also held positions at Georgia-Pacific Corporation, Microsoft and United Parcel Service.

Mieldezis holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Emory University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, with a minor in Mathematics, from Southern Illinois University.

Jim Morgan, Chief Financial Officer

Jim oversees all aspects of Finance and Administration including financial planning, reporting and analysis, investor relations, and human resources and capital management. Previously, he was CFO at nuBridges, which was acquired by Liaison in March 2011.

Prior to nuBridges, Jim directed finance and administration at CMI Marketing, a loyalty marketing company backed by DFJ and Highland Capital that develops and administers cross category loyalty and social networking programs. Before CMI, Jim worked at Goldman, Sachs and Co. in the Fixed Income Division, where his clients included large mutual funds and insurance companies. He was also a financial analyst for The Walt Disney Co., working with the company's various business units.

Jim holds an MBA in Finance from The Anderson School at UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.

Bruce Chen, Chief Technology Officer, Executive Vice President of Healthcare Informatics

Bruce Chen brings more than 17 years of product development and technical services experience to Liaison. He is directly responsible for the architecture, development, maintenance, and management of all Liaison solutions, including Integration, Product Information Management, Data Synchronization and Trading Services.

Prior to joining Liaison, Bruce was Chief Application Architect at McKesson HBOC's STAR Operation where he developed numerous products ranging from DBMS systems, to object oriented client/server systems and component based Web applications. He received the Year 2000 Fellow Award for outstanding and sustained technical contributions. He also participated in defining Web strategy product architecture and technology standards that included the adoption of the CORBA and COM technologies.

Juhani Sormanen, Executive Vice President, Europe

With more than 20 years of experience across functional areas in Europe, Juhani Sormanen is responsible for Liaison's European operations, including delivery, European business development, application development, and technical operations.

Prior to joining Liaison, Juhani served as the CEO of Anilinker Oy, which merged with Liaison in early 2008. He also held executive positions at Desigence Oy and Nokia Networks, where he served for nearly 20 years in various executive positions in global sales and marketing, business development etc. for various Nokia divisions.

Sormanen holds a Master of Science degree in Electronics from the Helsinki University of Technology.

Rob Consoli, Executive Vice President of North American Sales

Rob brings over 25 years of technology industry experience and has a demonstrated track record of successfully building teams and helping growth-oriented companies navigate cultural and process transitions as they expand operations and global reach. In this pivotal role, Rob leads Liason's North American efforts to strategically position and sell the company's cloud-based integration and data management solutions and increase its sales to meet the company's growth objectives.

Prior to joining Liaison, Rob was VP Sales for ID Systems, a leading wireless solutions firm where he was responsible for all North American sales operations. He also has held executive sales positions at technology firms Visiprise (now SAP), Jacada, and Programming Research.

Consoli holds a Master of Science from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science from Auburn University.
