Contivo: Working with Web Services 2.0

As web services migrate into production, idealized and simplified messages must give way to the complicated business messages required by applications and commonly handled by EAI and B2Bi systems. Full production deployment of web services will require successfully increasing the depth and breadth of the connections between loosely coupled systems - legacy applications and integration (middleware) systems.

One way to efficiently deal with increased complexity is to extend the architectural concepts of loose coupling and modeling to the web service development environment. This paper describes how to use Contivo, a data transformation solution, in a web service development environment and how to leverage its code-free approach to accelerate mapping and automatically generate runtime transformation code to work within a runtime platform.
